Large format 12x24” tiles are perhaps one of our favorite choices. Quite simply less grout and potentially lower installation costs due to the faster installation over say a 3x6" (you have to install one tile instead of 16 for each 12x24" Carrara tile).
So we have two wonderful reasons for this tile. Less grout and faster install. It is good to use even as a wainscoting, some of my favorite houzz.com pictures have 12x24” wainscoting and now we have the plaza molding that is an excellent cap for the 12x24" field Tile actually it is perhaps the perfect choice to cap of a large format tile wainscoting.
Then many pictures I see today are staking the product. Like our 1x3" Stacked Brick Mosaic. The stacking effect creates an incredibly modern bathroom. It is amazing how simply changes in the layout impact the room so much from Classic Carrara, to Transitional Venato with its exceptionally white base to a modern appearance with a stacked look.
