Glass Subway tile have become a staple of design for any homeowner, contractor or architect designing a bathroom with glass. Subway tiles are not new they first appeared in the New York transit system stations in 1904 creating the first brick format appearance. It is within the New York station tile the phrase ‘Subway Tile’ was coined. Although that product used in the New York subway tile was ceramic the design was so popular that is has spilled over into glass, marble, porcelain and even metal tiles.
The Builder Depot recognizes the design importance of glass tile offering a range of premium affordable glass subway tiles. It has taken years to agree the the quality required at a price point that cannot be beat. Five years ago this was not possible. Consider using in the bathroom or simply a kitchen our range of colors offered can fit any design scheme. Glass subway tiles are a true classic and we plan to continue to grow the line. Q. How are your prices so low? A great question and one that we cannot answer in just one sentence. This is an introductory price for a new collection and is subject to change. But how all our prices are so low is answered in more detail on our FAQ's to read click here and a video to help explain the process better in about 3 minutes :)
Q. Are these prices square foot or per tile? Our prices are PER SQUARE FOOT for example order the 3x6" Subway Tile will get you 8 tiles which are loose not on a mesh, remember to add 10-15% for design cuts and waste.
Q. Is this First Quality? All our products are. But this Glass Tile is 8mm with kiln fused backing (order a sample and see). The White glass is premium "Virgin" white glass to ensure no green hint at all. We have spared no expense on the quality. Our margins are really low, our business model allows for it (This is not some painted on cheap backer). This is the best the market offers and for our customers this is Brilliant!
Q. What is the shipping cost? There is none, zero, nothing, zip. This is a FREE SHIP ITEM. Brilliant!
